After twenty years of interior decorating and color matching, Betty found watercolor, pastel and oil painting to express her inner creative force. She searches for light and intuition in each piece. "I just love when a painting creates itself".
Betty's works allow the viewer to see a progression of changing
attitudes through multiple mediums.
"I need to live a few more lifetimes to do everything on my list"; she said in an interview with a local reporter.
Her works have been displayed in South Deerfield, Belchertown, Chicopee, West Springfield, Holyoke, and at The Tobacco Valley Art League.
Elizabeth Korostynski is not a "new" artist, as she has been painting now for quite a few years... Betty is a native New Englander who thought that she had no talent in Art... As you can see, she was so wrong in her thinking!
In creating her paintings, Betty uses oils, watercolor, pastels, and other mediums... Using wine instead of water creates a visible difference in color hues that makes these works really stand out!
Betty is a member of the Tobacco Valley Art League - Her works have been shown at many venues, with very good reception... Betty's works seem to have no end in subject matter.
Betty is currently painting in Winecolor©. She is exhibiting at wine-tasting events and displaying her works at local restaurants, libraries, and other venues.
